Due to the lack of available tiles, which word can’t you play in Scrabble?

While the word "pizzazz" is officially recognized in the Scrabble dictionary, it is mathematically impossible to play in a standard game due to tile limitations. A standard English Scrabble set contains exactly one natural "Z" tile and two wild-card blanks. Because blanks must substitute for any missing letters, a player can only ever field a maximum of three "Z"s at any given time (the single natural tile plus both blanks). Since spelling PIZZAZZ requires four "Z"s, it remains mathematically impossible to form on the board during gameplay.
